Every Act to Judgment

While visiting Stacey's blog today, I noticed a coupon giveaway she was having. As part of entering, she asked that commenters share their favorite verse of Scripture. As I was commenting on her post, I was again reminded of the great message in my favorite verse. Here it is:

Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14

13The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.

14For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.

I think it speaks for itself. This verse serves as a constant reminder to me that no matter what I think, say, do, or feel, God brings it to judgment. I take much comfort in knowing this. I know how prone to sin I am and I find that this verse helps me consider my words and actions beforehand. I wish I could say that I always make the right choices and do not sin but that isn't the case. I am especially thankful for the verses that remind me God knows All things.
