Well Said... That is such a pet peeve of mine.
Wow. I don't even let my kids call ANY adults by their first names without a Mr. or Mrs. in front of it. Allowing them to call me or my husband by my first name isn't even on my radar! Perhaps I am just an old fashioned southerner, but I still think there needs to be a line of respect between adults and kids!
Every once in awhile my son will call us by our first name. Hubby comes unglued! And, contrary to southern style, or kids call every adult Mr or Mrs _____, not Miss Ann or Mr Jim.
